Dental lasers are a medical technology that emits a beam of concentrated light. When used for surgical and periodontal procedures, the laser acts as a cutting instrument. It is the most efficient way to destroy bacteria and sterilize a root canal. The procedures performed with dental lasers are minimally invasive and preferable to conventional surgery.
We have incorporated the Waterlase MD YSGG laser into our practice. Why? Our patients deserve the most cutting edge treatment. We are the first Endodontic practice in New Jersey to incorporate laser treatment.
Patients typically experience less bleeding, swelling and post-op discomfort. Procedures that took several appointments to complete can now be finished in one visit.
